Mezza Restaurant, a beloved family-run establishment in Bradford, has been awarded the title of Best Lebanese Restaurant in Britain at the prestigious British Kebab Awards.
Since opening its doors in August 2020, Mezza Restaurant has quickly become a cornerstone of the community, known for its authentic Lebanese and Levantine cuisine. The restaurant was transformed from a run-down grade 2 listed property by a family passionate about food and culture, drawing inspiration from their childhood memories spent in Lebanon.
“We are incredibly honoured to receive this award, especially during such an exciting time for Bradford,” said Nabil Gorji, co-owner of Mezza Restaurant. “This recognition is a testament to the hard work of our dedicated team and the support of our loyal customers. We are thrilled to share our love for Lebanese cuisine with the community.”
The award could not have come at a better time, aligning with the Bradford City of Culture 2025 initiative, which aims to celebrate and promote the city’s rich cultural heritage. Mezza Restaurant is committed to contributing to this vibrant atmosphere through exceptional dining experiences.
Looking ahead, Mezza Restaurant is excited to announce upcoming initiatives, including a Ramadan iftar buffet for up to 300 guests in Mirage banqueting suite.
“We’re eager to continue evolving and enhancing our offerings, and we can’t wait to welcome more people to experience the warmth and flavours of Lebanon at Mezza. Our vision and focus for the future is to expand Mezza in other cities to make Mezza a national and internationally recognised brand” added Rida Gorji, the other co-owner of Mezza restaurant.
